Your Bed & Breakfast Experience
Lynne and Bill Harshbarger opened their B&B to the world in 1988 when their children were leaving home. While they worried over what might please their guests and how the house should look and what to fix for breakfast, they soon discovered that it was the whole experience of a B&B that is most attractive to visitors. Guests like everything. Especially they enjoy the quiet music and the art work, but most of all they enjoy sharing their lives and telling their stories. We've listed some of their comments here:
"We feel so pampered spendig our night here on the way to visit my aging mother in Southern Illinois. We love the breakfast. "

"We had a wonderful time at the Diamond House! It was a great place to relax on a mother-daughter getaway. The room was beautiful, and the graciousness of our hosts, phenomenal! The breakfast was amazing. Definitely a visit we will not soon forget!"
--Bond & Gail
"This was our first time staying at a B&B and you made it a wonderful experience. You have set the standard very high for any other we might visit. You made our anniversary a special memory. Hope to be back!"

"What a lovely bed & fireplace. Truly a divine night of slumber. The lemon verbena hibiscus tea from Lynne's garden was absolutely wonderful."
