The Arcola Flower Patch and Diamond House offer the perfect location and facility for your group reteat. With excellent rooms, a great breakfast, adequate space to put together your creations, guests are delighted to have such a convenient, interesting, small-town get-away. Some weeks we have quilters. Some weeks we have scrapbookers. Each group enjoys the facilities and the opportunity to focus, uninterrupted on their projects. They also like the opportunity to relax, take breaks in the gardens, and explore the Amish quilt shops and stores.
At the Flower Patch and Diamond House Bed & Breakfasts, you will find the freedom to relax, create, play, and share time with your friends without having to keep one eye on the clock and the other on your to do list. Here crafters set their own pace and have a good time.

The two houses, side by side offer 11 bedrooms with sleeping for 22, two great rooms to craft in, two kitchens, 9 bathrooms, two relaxing front porches, an elevated gazebo overlooking the beautiful floral and herb gardens, and a tranquil water garden, all in the heart of Illinois Amish country.

This arrangement is ideal for providing a pleasant unique experience for guests that cannot be matched by motels or hotels. Here, a group may reserve the whole complex to themselves.

The benefits provided by this arrangement are:
  • A small group setting assures you that only your group will be involved
  • The conference room can easily accommodate your group and provide ample space for arranging your work.
  • By using both houses, several locations are available for breakout sessions as well as pleasant breaks from the work.
  • The Bed and Breakfasts are located in town just walking distances from restaurants and stores when the group wants to take a break.
  • The convenient location on I-57 makes it easy to get to and from the location.

The Arcola Flower Patch Bed and Breakfast provides unique and special facilities for retreats. There are really two houses associated with this one enterprise: The Arcola Flower Patch house, which is a Victorian, Italianate house; and the Arcola Diamond House, a "Prairie Style" house next door that displays some of Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural ideas. The convention facility is a third building next door to these two. It has about 2,500 sq. ft. of space with plenty of room for tables and chairs. It has convenient restrooms, a kitchen, microwave, and refrigerator.
