Monticello is a pleasant Central Illinois small town that holds several "Main Street" events including the
Chocolate Fantasy Festival. The city leaders unwrap one of the earliest festivals of the season. They target it for the weekend near Valentine's day. Of course, everything is chocolate. The romantic weekend perfectly connects with the Arcola Flower Patch's romantic get-away package. It's fun to see the creative ways that chocolate can be prepared and presented.

  • The May Market is held in the first weekend of May and features the new plants for garden lovers
  • The Monticello Celebration is an arts and crafts festival held in September
